LG Two-Legged Robot– Your New Household Helper

LG Electronics just revealed a two-legged robot at a big tech show called CES 2024, which runs from January 9th to 12th, 2024.

LG’s AI-powered robot is designed to be a versatile home manager and companion, capable of handling household tasks and engaging in verbal interactions with users.

The company claims that its Smart Home AI Agent serves as an all-in-one home manager and companion, in line with its “Zero Labor Home” vision, which aims to improve user lives through advanced electronic support.

The white robot has a rounded body with animated eyes on a built-in screen and two legs with flexible joints connected to wheels.

LG’s two-legged AI robot can move around the house to perform its tasks. It comes with a built-in speaker, camera, and multiple sensors that continuously collect real-time data on temperature, humidity, and indoor air quality.

The robot is powered by Qualcomm’s Robotics RB5 Platform, enabling features like face and voice recognition, emotion analysis, and conversation abilities. The robot can link and manage various smart home devices and IoT devices.

Your New Home Security Guard:

Besides automating tasks, this adaptable AI robot can also serve as a home security guard. Using AI technologies for real-time data analysis, it patrols homes when residents are away.

Moving between rooms, this two-legged robot sends smartphone notifications to users if it detects an open window or lights left on, helping to minimize energy consumption.

LG’s AI robot can also Talk with the users

LG sees its two-legged AI robot as a caring companion for pets at home. With its cameras and sensors, it can detect any unusual activities involving furry friends and promptly notify their owners.

LG Two-legged AI Robot Can Also Talk with Users:

This two-legged AI robot can engage in complex conversations, understanding and responding to users. The clever device communicates with users using its voice and expresses feelings through its flexible leg joints and big electronic eyes.

LG uses advanced multi-modal technology, combining voice and image recognition with natural language processing.

As a result, the home AI robot can actively communicate with humans by understanding their context and intentions and being able to understand the meaning and purpose behind talks.

One of its most adorable features is the robot also analyzes its owners’ emotions by listening to their voices and watching their facial expressions. It then plays comforting songs to soothe their minds.
