Proton New Energy Future, a Spanish start-up, invented Ebörd, an intelligent solar-powered table with a wireless charger covering the entire surface.
The wireless charger allows multiple phones to charge simultaneously. The company claims it can absorb energy from the Sun and artificial lights for enhanced performance and high efficiency.
The Ebörd Solar Powered Table is an innovative, wireless table that looks like any modern style, with a dark glass top and metal frame.
Other devices with built-in wireless charging surfaces usually have a couple of charging coils, meaning you must place your phone precisely.
However, Ebörd has more than 50 coils, allowing users to charge up to four devices quickly without any hassle.
Besides this, the Ebörd uses the Qi charging platform, making it compatible with the latest iPhones and Samsung Galaxies.
It also works with Google Pixel 3, 3 XL, Sony, Nokia, LG, and other devices. Many smartwatches, tablets, and earbuds with Qi can also be charged. For devices without Qi, the table includes two other adapters.
The Ebörd operates wirelessly and does not need to be plugged into a wall outlet. Its surface is photovoltaic, featuring a thin film panel that absorbs sunlight and stores it in a 10 Ah battery.
Additionally, it includes a patented membrane made from marine bacteria with proteins, enhancing solar module efficiency by 60% in low-light conditions.
The Ebörd is waterproof, eliminating concerns about liquid spills. Additionally, it offers two premium models: one with an LED lighting system and another with a Bluetooth surround sound speaker system.
