Robot LoonaPetBot Loona, an adorable Robo-pet by KEYi Technology, was unveiled at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). This cute and intelligent robot is designed for both people and pets and offers a unique blend of affection and functionality. The PetBot Loona is currently seeking support for this project through fundraising on Indiegogo.

PetBot Loona

PetBot Loona is a playful companion who greets her humans upon arrival and follows them as they move around the house. It also expresses happiness when treated like a pet.

Loona is more than just a cute companion; it has advanced sensory capabilities that enable it to recognize faces, track sound sources, respond to voice commands, and sense touch.

Loona boasts an array of advanced capabilities, including face recognition, body detection, gesture recognition, 3D motion tracking, object recognition, and motion detection.

With these visual powers, you and Loona can engage in fun, interactive experiences, such as playing fetch or following each other, just like a pet.

Loona is equipped with a 3D camera and edge sensors to navigate your home. Additionally, she has a regular camera for detecting faces and recognizing objects. With four microphones, Loona can locate you when you wave at her.

At launch, it’ll respond to verbal commands and gestures, and the company claims new ones will continuously be added. There will also be a graphical programming tool so you can create your interactions and a community to share them with.

She enjoys solo activities like sneezing, scratching, exploring, and examining curious objects. Additionally, she showcases her talent by beatboxing, dancing, and posing for photos all available at the affordable price of $449.

This robot is equipped with vision, listening, and haptic perception capabilities, making it highly responsive to its environment. PetBot Loona is capable of recognizing up to 20 faces at once, spotting her human in a crowd, and understanding human body posture and hand gestures.

Loona’s advanced emotional interaction model allows her to understand humans and become familiar with their interaction habits.

Loona’s Listening feature allows her to determine the location of her human through sound source positioning, awaken with a special word, and respond to voice commands.

With her Haptic Perception, Loona can sense touch and react appropriately through the use of tactile sensors on the top of her head.

To enhance her interactions, Loona has an extensive collection of over 700 emotional actions, expressed through her LCD screen face and movements in her legs and ears.

PetBot Loona is also a security companion, with a camera and speaker to monitor your home. It meets global security standards and certifications, including PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, FedRAMP, GDPR, FIPS 140-2, and NIST 800-171. User data and privacy are protected with a hardware-level data encryption chip.

PetBot Loona can move smoothly and softly like a pet, thanks to her motion control system and kinematic model of robot control.

It can move quickly and agilely on four wheels or make more intelligent, balanced movements on two wheels. Get PetBot Loona and enjoy the benefits of a smart, affectionate, and secure companion robot.
